Sandy is the Admissions Assistant and Coordinator of Advancement.  She has been with Bay Farm since 1997 and has a daughter enrolled in the Children's House.

Below are Sandy's thoughts about why she came to Bay Farm and why she has been with us for so many years.

I have had the pleasure of working at Bay Farm Montessori Academy for seven years. I came to Bay Farm as a Head Teacher in Room 3, where I was lucky to help foster the early development of so many wonderful children and their families. Throughout the years at Bay Farm I have continued my education, had an amazing daughter who is now a student at Bay Farm and, along with the changes in my life, have loved to watch Bay Farm grow and change.

I came to Bay Farm quite by accident, but quickly fell in love with the beautiful campus feel and all that I sensed Bay Farm had to offer to its students and faculty. I am amazed at the depth of the curriculum, the compassion of the teachers, the high standards set by the administration and how the arts are integrated into all that we do. Not only is Bay Farm a wonderful school for children, it is also a wonderful place for adults to grow as well.

After having taught in the Children's House for seven years, I took on the new roles of Children's House Coordinator and Admissions Assistant, as well as continued my teaching part-time in Room 4 - three roles which are challenging me to learn and grow a new skill set. I am blessed with the best of both worlds, in that I still get to work with children everyday as well as interface with adults.
