Goal:
Provide instruction and activities for students in K – 6 that build physical health and strength and develop individual and team spirit and character.
Reports to the Head of School.

Requirements:
B.A. or higher in Education, Physical Education or other related field.
Experience teaching physical education/sports to elementary–age children; cooperative team building approach preferred.
Proven ability to develop a strong physical education program.
Good personal, verbal and written skills.
Flexibility, good sense of humor.

Duties to include but may not be limited to:
Preparation of P.E. lessons and activities, and teach P.E. to students in K-6.
Participation in staff meetings, trainings, school events.
Write articles about P.E. for school newsletter.
Teach/coach after-school classes/teams.
Collaborate with faculty to ensure coordinated programs and excellent support for all students.
