Kids Care Club is an organization of students who meet regularly to discuss the issues and needs of their community and beyond. With the guidance of a parent volunteer, they decide what actions to take to make a real difference for others. Some of the projects they have recently undertaken are:
- collecting blankets and towels for local animal shelters;
- producing a video about recycling;
- raising awareness about local endangered animals; and
- secretly and cheerfully decorating the offices of school personnel for the holidays.
Kids Care Club is always up to something good, and is just one of the many expressions of community service acted out in the Bay Farm Montessori Academy community.
